Valencia Throwdown 2026 ran from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 May in Valencia, Spain, with event coverage by the Image Media team. The three-day crosstraining competition was organised by BOX 980, an established CrossFit affiliate in the city, and is one of the longer-running events of its kind on the Spanish competitive calendar, returning for a new edition in 2026. Registration was handled through the WodBuster Arena platform and closed on 22 May, the day competition began.
The 2026 edition featured individual, pairs and trios divisions. Individual athletes competed across Élite, RX, Intermediate and Scaled categories, with Masters age-group divisions for men and women from 30 upward in five-year brackets through 55-plus. Pairs competed in mixed Intermediate and Scaled categories, and trios competed in Intermediate and Scaled categories, alongside a dedicated coach-entry division.
Workouts spanned rowing, sled work and barbell movements across the weekend's events, tested in front of spectators at the outdoor competition site. No official results or podium placements had been published by any source at the time of writing, so none are reported here.
The Image Media coverage team at Valencia Throwdown comprised Luis Moreira, José Ramón Moreno, Lucas Araújo and Luan Rodrigo.
