Nettuno's Piazza Cesare Battisti and the town's Marina hosted the fourth edition of Trident Battle on 13 and 14 June 2026, with event coverage by the Image Media team. The weekend was organised by Associazione CrossFit 4112 under president Emanuele Amato, staged with the backing of the Comune di Nettuno and its Assessorato allo Sport, Turismo e Spettacolo, led by Assessore Marco Federici. In total, 190 athletes took part, competing across CrossFit-style workouts in the piazza and open-water trials in the sea off the Marina di Nettuno.

Saturday's programme opened in Piazza Cesare Battisti before athletes moved to the Marina di Nettuno for the open-water trial, testing the field with swim-and-run sequences along the shoreline. The format has made Trident Battle a fixture on the Lazio functional-fitness calendar since its debut, growing each year under the CrossFit 4112 banner.

Sunday evening's finals and awards ceremony closed out the weekend in Piazza Cesare Battisti, with medals presented by Assessore Marco Federici alongside municipal councillors Roberta Bianchi and Samantha Bernardi. Mayor Nicola Burrini called it "un evento sportivo straordinario" — an extraordinary sporting event — as the 190 athletes wrapped up two days of competition in the town square and on the waterfront.
