The Battle Games returned to the Perpetuo Socorro football fields in Castellón de la Plana for its tenth edition, running from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April 2026, with event coverage by the Image Media team. More than 800 athletes from across Spain took part, with organisers reporting that roughly three-quarters of the field travelled from outside the Comunitat Valenciana.
The national crosstraining competition ran individual divisions across Rookie, Scaled, Intermediate, Master (35+) and RX levels, in men's, women's and mixed categories, alongside team formats in pairs and trios. Registration was handled through the Arena WodBuster platform, with an online qualifying phase in February and March feeding into the in-person finals in Castellón. The event ran with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Castelló de la Plana, whose Sports Councilor, Maica Hurtado, attended the final day and said the competition "reinforces the city's position as a venue for major sporting events."
In the RX Individual Masculino division, the highest-level individual category, Arnau Sabaté Batalla (Red Ribbon Alt Camp) took the win, with Dami Martínez Satorres (Box la Jungla) second and Saverio Cardone (Fitness Elite) completing the podium. The division's entry list also drew competitors from Italy, Ecuador, Egypt, the Bahamas, Colombia and Puerto Rico.
The Rookie, Scaled, Intermediate and Master divisions ran across the same three days, giving athletes at every level a route into the competition alongside the RX field. Organisers framed the tenth edition as further evidence of Castellón's standing as a national hub for crosstraining, following years of steady growth in the event's entry numbers.
