AVYNT Hybrid Arena, the hybrid-training gym in Vilar do Paraíso, Vila Nova de Gaia, staged the III Avynt Hyrox Simulation on Saturday 1 August 2026, with event coverage by the Image Media team. Registration reached full capacity for the event, the third stage of the venue's annual AVYNT League after February's opener and May's second stage, again pairing an endurance run with a run of strength stations built around the Hyrox simulation format. The competition is organised independently by AVYNT and is not an official stage of the international HYROX circuit.
Competitors covered eight kilometres of running split into eight segments, alternating with strength stations including sled pushes, sled pulls, burpee broad jumps and wall balls. The programme ran across individual Open and Pro categories for men and women, men's, women's and mixed doubles, and men's, women's and mixed relay categories, spanning athletes from first-time competitors to more experienced racers.
The AVYNT League is an annual competition built around AVYNT Hybrid Arena's own Hyrox-style simulations, with results across each stage counting toward a season-long ranking rather than each event standing alone. The 2026 calendar opened on 21 February and continued on 30 May before Saturday's third stage, with six stages planned for the year and a fourth stage set for 26 September at the same venue.
